Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pounce Hire (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Pounce Hire helps you build a portfolio, discover remote jobs, generate tailored cover emails and ATS-friendly resumes, and send job applications from your own connected email account. Features and limits may vary by plan.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account.
• Keep your credentials secure; notify us of any unauthorized use.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Your content and responsibility

• You retain ownership of the content you upload (resume, portfolio details, sample work).
• You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content to operate the Service for you.
• You are responsible for the applications you send. You are responsible for reviewing generated content for accuracy before sending, and for ensuring your applications are truthful. Our AI is designed to draw only on the facts you provide and to avoid fabrication, but you are the sender and the author of record.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing.
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or authorization.
• Violate the terms of any connected third-party service (including Google/Gmail) or any job board’s terms.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data.

You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with applicable email, anti-spam, and employment laws. Sending volume is subject to per-plan limits to protect deliverability.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google (Gmail), job-listing providers, and AI providers. Your use of those integrations may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Plans and billing

Some features are offered under paid plans. Pricing and plan limits are shown in the app and may change. Where billing applies, charges are described at the point of purchase.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, employment outcomes, email deliverability, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pounce Hire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
